ASC mags aren't working great

Anybody have any suggestions for magazines that work well with Grendel? The ASC mags I have are pretty finicky and I'm having problems with bullets diving every so often.

Not happy to hear this. I just dumped E-Lander for the same reason. I'd call ASC and make them make it right.

I have been using C Products Defense 10 rounders with some luck. Note: I only have about 200 rounds through the gun but so far so good with my two mags

Sounds like you have a feed lip on your mags that need to be bent into the correct postion.

That are order some CPD/Duramags.

In all seriousness OP, it sounds like you have a feed lip that needs to be tweaked or might have something hanging up the follower.

Checking the feed lip is easy, takes 2 rounds to do it. Put one round in and look to see if the lip is in full contact with the case. If so then look from front of mag and see if the bullet tip is in a downward angle.

If so adjust so it's got a just slight upward angle. If feed lip one checks out then add a second round and repeat the process on the other feed lip.

Bottom line is both round one and round two should be slightly angled up, if either round is at the even or angled down look you need to tweak a feed lip.

Sounds to me like it’s a problem with that particular magazine or the rifle.I own 10 ASC mags and I know several guys that run them. They are golden,never had problems or heard of anyone having a problem with them.

It seems to only happen with Wolf. Brass ammo is perfect.

No burrs on the feed ramps.
It's not a gas related issue either.

It just seems like every so often the nose of one will dive.

The front of the mag is very high and flat across. When you push a round forward with your finger you can see that the flat edge catches the mouth edge of the brass. Round that deeper with a dremel sanding wheel and polish/sand the sharp edges on the inside of the feedlips. Will smooth those mags up real nice.
