are these Elander 17 round magazines worth a hoot.?
When I load my DUMMY round into it, it looks as if I will have to dremel some clearance on the front of the magazine. am I right or wrong?

I have 11 seventeen round E-Lander mags and all have been gtg. I load mine to full capacity and leave them loaded till I go to the range and use them. I then load them to capacity and let them set loaded till the mag spring take set. I have four AR-15’s in 6.5 Grendel and one PSA 12” Nitride 6.5 Grendel pistol. No malfunctions to date with E-Lander 17 round mags, YMMV.

If you want more coal length from your mag. Get CPD mags. Elander has the shortest amount of coal room for handloads.

Good mags but kind of short on room for handloads.

I use the E-Lander 4 round & the CPD 10 rounder.
Both brands are great.
