I know that quite a few of us are Veterans. Thank you for your service, by the way.
I'm looking to upgrade my AR barrel and have been checking out some of the websites. Hadn't heard so decided to ask and yeah, both Faxon Firearms and Ballistic Advantage offer a 10% Veteran discount!
With BCA that makes three manufacturers offering us 10% off so far.

Edit: As has been discussed before, you have to sign up for an account with proof of service. I don't have a scanner so took a pic of my VA card and driver's license with "Veteran" label, then opened that pic in Paint to black out info I didn't want exposed.

Not Grendel, but I just got an email showing that Savage Arms has started a 30% (off msrp) discount for veterans (and LE and many others). 30% off is huge when most discounts are 10%.
“This isn’t a limited program. dsgarms.com also has a mil discount. After you register for an account with them it will unlock mil pricing. Some items are 20% off or more with the mil pricing. I now buy MOST of my rifle parts and accessories there.

They give a 10% Vet discount too. You have to email your proof to an outside company for verification but it only took about a day to get mine approved.
I just got the deal of the century, LOL! Box of 1000 123g 6.5mm CC Match bullets for $159.95 less 10% makes $144 or 14.4 cents each, wow! They're the least expensive 6.5 bullets I've ever found and they're perfect over-runs, not blems. I'm now loading 6.5Grrr, 6.5CM and 260 Rem so 1000 bullets is a reasonable amount. They only had a few boxes in stock and I was lucky to grab one when I could.
You have to check their site often as things sell out quickly. I just saw that they have some 140g RDF blems in stock for 21.45 cents each, another great deal.

Okay, there are websites showing Veteran discounts coming up; google it. I'm probably going to get lunch and dinner and there's even a free car wash. Tons of restaurants and stores with discounts this year, the list keeps growing. Discounts at amusement parks and museums.

BCA had the Veteran's Day free barrel deal this year, just received mine and will be using it for a light camp gun so to speak. Very happy with the 20 inch SS Heavy and dual charging upper I ordered. I finished the upper and have run 60 rounds through it during a break in. I then ran some handle ads through it using the Lehigh Defense 110gr Controlled Chaos bullet with a final load of 30.2gr of 2520, Starline cases and Winchester small rifle primers with COL of 2.250. Shot from a solid bench & rest with bags at 100 yds. Results were sub moa. Will post some pics when I get home, traveling to Portland Oregon at this time but wanted to send out some praise for Bear Creek for a very surprising barrel. I had many tell me to stay away from them with claims that are just the opposite of my results.

I'm a 60% Service Connected Disabled Vet and after sending the proof to Riton Optics, I got a huge discount. They are a Veteran owned company and make a darn good product. I bought a FFP 6X24 by 50mm scope and love it, will be buying all of my scopes from them going forward.
