Let me clarify, the ADAPTER which is what the lense screws into and is to be seated in the bell housing of the adapter IS Exportable.

The lense (Sony 1.7x) is NOT exportable but that is easy to source here in the States.

The link Elk posts is to get setup with a Pulsar 1.7x adapter which was never designed for the Pulsar N550 hence you still need a Dr. Bob's adapter for that as well. The additional length of that lense and Dr. Bob's advise that the 1.7x Sony lense gives a clearer image is what swayed me to go with the Sony.

BTW - I tried like heck to join that TexasBoars sight and because they want my real name they won't pass me for the registration. BORING!!!!!
