The situation is this as given to me during a phone call to BCA yesterday. The issue that led to the "raid" was that there were approximately 30 employees hire after EVerify vetting for I9 and other employment forms. ALL new hires that were scooped up during the "Raid" passed the EVerify vetting process. It was eluded that the hiring had been done via an employment agency. Said employment agency apparently was under the watchful eye of ICE. BCA evidently had been cooperating with ICE and according the the lady I spoke with , remain cooperating and are "in the good graces" of ICE. That was all teh lady was able to tell me other than the employment agency had been hired to help catch up on back orders due to unexpected surge of purchases.

All that said, in all my years it STILL ceases to amaze me how the shooting community will dogpile and eat there own. This is the third forum where BCA has just been eviscerated without apparently anyone doing any first hand fact checking. It stuns me. We need to remember that the LEFT is ALWAYS looking for ammunition to use against us...we NEED TO QUIT HELPING THEM

No evisceration here of BCA. There is one joke, a couple comments about the quality (which is not the first time this sentiment has been expreseed) and concern that the illegal workers may have stolen from BCA. Try rereading.

As for going to the source and checking "the facts," of course BCA is going to say everything is great. It is in their best interest to do so. Maybe it really is, but they would hardly be the unbiased source. I haven't seen where ICE has said that they were cooperating fully. The company has "confirmed" many things for ICE, but no such statements from ICE, yet. In short, you have no independent confirmation.

It's good to know BCA's HR department is better than their QC department. Although, if they weren't such a turd sandwich they wouldn't be using a temp agency. I have no idea if they're guilty or not of hiring illegals but they sure are guilty of turning out garbage barrels.

Its funny and scary how if you say BCA on forums the number of people that SCREAM junk.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. Calls answered and question answered before I placed my 1st order.
Quick shipping and questions answered after purchase.
I checked BBB fr their area and all problems seem to be handled that got that far.

Wouldn't it be better to say "they are guilty of turning out a higher percentage of garbage barrels than makers charging three times as much. It seems to irritate people when someone reports their BCA barrel shoots sub-MOA.

I have had two BCA barrels that were not right. They were both replaced under warranty fairly easily with good barrels. They shoot around one MOA.
So for me, that is 2 out of 4 for 50%. Not as good as I thought.
I have another AR-Stoner barrel which may have been made by BCA in 5.56 that does not shoot well with 55gr FMJ Federal factory ammo.
It may be worse than I thought.

When I was a little boy my dad used to say, "don't believe anything thing you hear and only half of what you see." It is as true today as it was a half century ago. Anybody with a brain knows that lies run like a river and truth is genuinely hard to find. And yet people continue to believe what they are told... even when they know better.

Thankfully this forum has very little of that. Thank you for that. I do not know what is going on with BCA. The truth may be known but the truth is almost never the first headline. Don't be a sucker.

Well I'm 3 for 3 on barrels, so I'm 100% satisfied! I have two Grendel barrels, 18" SS heavy 1:8 that's shoot MOA out to 400yards. 20" CM heavy fluted 5R barrel that is sub MOA out to 400yds. Then my most recently purchased (last week) 16" SS heavy barrel that shoot 1.5 MOA out to 200yds with Wolf Steel cased 123 Hp ammo. This barrel has less than 50 rounds down the pipe and will get some hand loads pretty soon.

Also last week I bought the complete 7.62X39 side charge upper with BCG. Just to see how well it would do, after putting it all together I didn't lube the upper. It ran flawlessly! Fit and finish is perfect.

So far the only issue has been the bolt handle has come loose. I read in the reviews that it has been reported, so I didn't check the torque, just to see if it wouldcome loose. It did! So it got a little blue paste loc-tite.

So 3 barrels and a complete upper. I have less than $400.00 and had only one small problem!

You elitist just keep running them down! Hopefully their prices will stay low so I can build a couple more flawless rifles!
