JP builds great stuff, they tend to be geared toward the 3 Gun sports, but great stuff!

It all started with the damn handguard for me. I had a gunsmith all lined up to help me build my setup and then I found these guys. All from a picture. Now I'm 3200.00 lighter and still have to scope that baby out. They make a really kick ass scope mount too but I held off on buying that until I can find the reticle that I want and know what size rings to get. It's all I have thought about today and now I have to wait 8-10 weeks but it will be worth it. Give me some time to get some handload information together and potentially some brass and bullets. I can't wait.

+1 on the JP stuff. I have used many of their parts over the years and current. I am sure you will love the rifle.

JP is whom I went to for my first match grade barrel. Ended up purchasing more than the barrel. All parts that I have ever purchased through JP have been of top notch quality and working with their support guys was very easy. They didn't try to push me into anything I didn't need. Definitely will do more business with them down the road.

+7 on JP parts. I've been using their handguards since 2004, their springs, gas blocks, triggers, etc. Can't think of any complaints now that you mention it.

Man I have made myself sick thinking about and dreaming about this setup and as of this morning, I am finally a member of the Grendel family. I cannot imagine what the next 8-10 weeks is going to be like thinking about it's arrival. Now, I am trying to find the best ballistics charts to help me decide what optics work best for this rifle. Any help there would be greatly appreciated as well. It should be noted that I am going to want to consistently push this out to 500 yards but will be in the 75-200 yard range more often than any other range. Here's the setup I went with....

18" Medium Contour Barrel (Polished Stainless)
Large Profile JP Compensator
JP LE-M Handguard (free floated with skeletonized circles in it that started this whole mess by the way)

Standard Hogue Grip

I'm stoked man. Said that already I know but this is ridiculous. I went with the contrast rather than a solid black gun but it was a tough decision. Same with the 18" barrel instead of 20" or 22" but ultimately I decided that I would be losing less than 100 feet per second from 20" to 18" and really wanted a rifle I can carry without having to rent some heavy equipment. I have a CTR-02 (PGF) and am working on an LRP-07. Their guns are top notch. I personally don't think anything else compares. They are indeed big in the 3-gun cirlcle but every gun is pretty much a made to order custom. So, they pretty much put together anything you want if you've got the bank.
