got this barrel from the first 20" group buy and finally got around to testing it gearing up for deer season
20" faxon barrel w/ generic ebay 308 brake
anderson light sporter upper
17 mlok fieldsport lw rail
anderson lower
ke arms slt1 trigger
sig lancer a1 stock
also shot my first factory grendel ammo local gun shop had some hornady black so i figured i would test some of that as well

That looks great.
Those Lilja barrels really shoot out of the gate.
Looks like a super-handy 20", lightweight fire stick.
What does it weigh?

its a 20" faxon group buy barrel it weighs 8.2 fully dressed with the glass

I love the Faxon 18" I got on the group buy. It shoots tight groups like yours. What a great those have been.

unfortunately the deer did not appreciate my effort and failed to show up for the appointment so i can not testify to the effectiveness of rig....

That is why they call it hunting, and with the way those groups were when one comes out it will be on the ground.

unfortunately gun season is pretty limited here nd the area i live in is basically a shotgun only hunting ( muzzle loader and pistol caliber rifles are allowed also) so the grendel is done for the year it will have to wait a year for it to taste blood

Sorry. When I saw the group size and group buy, it automatically converted to = Lilja in my mind.
Either way, looks like you have some accuracy potential with this build.
