I’ve seen pistol ammunition loaded with a primer in the nose and sold as exploding ammo. I never tested any to see if it would work. I’d say they got those exploding projectiles to work.

I want that. Should be standard issue for counterinsurgencies and conflicts against non-uniformed actors.
