Suppressed 6.5 Grendel?

Mods, please move if not in the right section. Anyhow, I'm looking to purchase an AAC M4-2000 that is made for 6.8mm to run on my 6.5 and 556. I feel that this set up will give me better sound reduction than running a 762SD can for both. I don't plan on ever having a 308 caliber gun. Am I being logical going this route? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

As you said If you don't ever plan on having a 308 your idea will work just fine.. I just know how plans seem to change and that 308 suppressor will work for them all.. For just a little more now instead of a lot more later (another tax stamp and another suppressor) Plus having that larger bore insures you should "never" have a baffle strike with a 223 or 6.5 .. Just a little insurance

I am having a suppressor built by Templar and intentionally having them bore it for .308. The sound suppression does not change much and I have the option of using it on my .308 if I decide to get it threaded.
