I see Precision Firearms offering Criterion barrels in which they say the 14.5” barrel would have mid length gas. I figured the 14.5” would have carbine gas system. Anyone have experience with this setup ?

No first had knowledge/experience but if PF sells it that way it should run fine, they do they homework.

I'm also of the mind set adjustable gas and lowmass system on all gas lengths is where it's at.

I was thinking that too. With an adjustable block that should take some worry out of the equation.
BTW, what exactly do you mean by “low mass system” ?

Lowmass bcg and lowmass buffer with reduced power buffer springs with the adjustable gas block makes for a super soft shooting gun.

Saber Defense used to make 14.5" MLGS Grendels.

AA offered 14.5" CLGS Grendels.
NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

CCW, CQM, DM, Long Range Rifle Instructor

Yes. Just have to have the gas ports cut accordingly.

CLGS has a smaller port than MLGS.
NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO
