My good friend gave me the hand guard as a congrats for joining the USAF so I decided to make it a build worth building. I figured a plain old stainless bull barrel would look boring. Plus it was heavy as heck. I think it dropped about a pound with the fluting. The front 1.5" was turned down to fit the MB68AR brake. Barrel is a 24" BHW. I'm stationed at Tinker. There's a 400yd range not far from here where I plan on breakin this thing in.

The freakin quarter thing was a gift from my mom. I dont have the heart to throw it away, but the quarters are in a box. lol

Samson Evolution. Really nice rail. Similar in design to the Troy TRX (Which I have on my carbine) but I actually think the Samson is a little better in it's attachment method.

I like the looks of spiral fluted barrels as well, and the handling/weight improvement has to be felt to be appreciated. Looking forward to a range report.
