Anyone buy from Palmetto State Armory? PSA

placed an order almost a week ago, got order comfirmation, thats all. Never got a shipping confirmation, the website says you will when it ships with a tracking number, Ive sent two emails now this week, no replies, tried to call but the mailbox is full and it says to just email them...

Did I make a mistake by ordering frome them?

No, you didn't make a mistake. I order from them all the time. The problem is with they do the 49.99 stripped lowers they take a beating from the high intake of orders. During their black friday sale, I purchased 400 rds of hornady ammo and I didn't get the shipping information until December 12.

ugh, thanks for the confirmation, Ill keep waiting, Id have a complete grendel if they would ship on time. Had I known it would be a long wait to get the stuff Id have ordered elsewhere...

I'll second what Costa said. I ordered several lowers during the BF sale and it took 2 weeks to get confirmation. I did get an email saying they were swamped and were working as fast as they could. I have ordered lots of ammo from them inthe past and have never had anything fail to show or arrive in other than pristine condition. I am suprised you didn't get an email response, though.

me too, if they would at least communicate I wouldnt be as concerned. Or state on the website the typical order wait time, their FAQ page says stuff ships in 1-2 days with a shipping confirmation and tracking number..

They really got swamped from that sale and I bought one of the PSA lowers from my dealer who stocked up. I finished building my lower December 22 and I'll have to say it turned out really nice. My lower was finished very nicely and I put a RRA NM LPK and RRA 6 position stock on the lower. Makes a very nice build which I'm using with a dedicated 22 LR upper.

When they aren't swamped you can expect quite a fast turn around...usually less than a week, but like others said, their 49.99 lower sale really blasts them.

Same experience with me, but I wasn't in a hurry to get my lowers. They are worth the wait for the price and quality of the anodizing on the lowers. They also stock quality parts and I have found myself ordering from them more and more. A lot of stuff is even at or lower than dealer cost sometimes.

sqeaky wheel gets the grease I guess. Just got a confirmation that it has shipped, and will be here next friday, hope thats right! Im concerned the weight being only 3lbs, seems light for two 20rnd boxes of loaded ammo, and a whole lower build kit with the stock, plus packaging? We will see I guess. Only one more week to go for my first AR and first Grendel!

I have never ordered from them personally but my brother has spoke to them several times on the phone and he said they were miserable to speak wit, acted like he was bothering them and he found them pretty rude. I will still probably order from them because you can't beat the price. I guess I will just have to suffer through the rudeness to get what I need. My brother ordered me their $49.00 lower. I must say I find it extremely high quality.

Palmetto State Armory isn't a very large organization, fact is either they process orders or answer emails. I know what I'd rather they be doing. They're AR lowers are on sale again, I may get a couple.

They're alright, check quality of items as you receive them. Low price isn't always -the best deal-. The lower parts kit I got from them last Jan. sucked--poor quality on the machined parts, springs were way too heavy on the lb. scale.
