Rush Limbaugh has pointed out that the left has over played their hand. Time and time again. Did it in 2015 which led to conservatives and libertarians being very focused.
The left, to include the news media, really thinks that they represent about 70% of the public. They are sure that they have destroyed conservatives and the republicans. However they are confused when they do see push-back. This current push on weapons is not working out as well as they hoped. Trump seems to be playing them for suckers. he talks their language but it is clear that he expects little to be done.
The one thing that is happening is that the left is out to suppress conservatives and libertarians on social media. They have no idea of the number of boards like this one out there. Or of sites like MeWe (.com) that many conservatives are setting up backup accounts just in case Facebook and Twitter close them down. Right now Facebook is putting conservatives in FB jail. Either locking them out of their accounts or making them as spam. Our guess is that this is a test run for this fall and for 2020. The left is not happy that conservatives were able to be so successful with social media. YouTube is another site that is locking conservatives. Dennis Prager has been locked out. As has a number of other conservatives.
Long term we will work around them. MeWe if nothing else. Might need a place to replace YouTube.

Seems to be different kinds of "lockout".
Some folks have had their videos removed completely.
Some have had their earned revenue $$ wiped out.
Some have their videos still up, but the account owners no longer have admin access to their accounts. I believe I read this last is true in Prager's case.
Different ways for the SPLC and their censor-happy friends to shut down accounts they don't like, I guess.
I'm confident they'll be restored on a case-by-case basis. Might be hurried along by a nominal donation to the appropriate interest group in charge of "monitoring".

I was curious about this purported "lockout" so I did a bit of searching on YouTube. From what I was able to gather, contrary to the claim in the OP, Dennis Prager has not been locked out of YouTube.
It appears that the issue is only with a small percentage of videos posted by PragerU ("the blog that thinks it's a university," as another YouTube poster calls it), and those videos are actually in a "restricted" category meant to protect minors from some types of content, but which -- like the rest of PragerU videos -- are apparently still freely available to adult viewers.

Yep.
Some folks have reported individual videos as being reclassified as restricted. (I believe Steven Crowder had this issue?) Some are up in arms that videos explaining the workings of US gov't have been "restricted" to 'adult only' viewing.
I think YouTube/Google and Facebook are going to find that trusting politically motivated individuals and organizations like the SPLC to judge the posts, videos and accounts will cause them more headache than benefit.
Well, until they find that out, they are making plenty of money and and enjoying such benefits. That they have occasional problems seems to be more of an issue of the programming that they run to assess videos than anything else. Those programs keep them from needed as many people to review videos.
People 'bout poopped all over themselves when MAC's channel was shutdown by YouTube, ranting on and on about it, only his channel wasn't shutdown by YouTube (I believe Stanc pointed that out). So these very extreme reactions are not just something on the Left. They are on the Right as well.
Whenever somebody invokes Rush Limbaugh, I know the extremist crazy meter will get pegged. His career seems to be based entirely on being a professional at being offended. Let's face it, if they have overplayed their hand, we should have it easy, right? Victory is in our pocket. Of course with Trump playing them for suckers seems a bit dubious given that Trump is talking about wanting to sign gun control legislation.

I’ve never been a huge Rush fan, I like his conservative views, but his constant acidic attacks drive me nuts. I’ve always felt that he is an entertainer and plays to his audience. Glen Beck is the same to me. (Let the flames begin!)

Because we need to protect minors from such violent and pornographic content as "Guns Rights Are Women's Rights", "Is the Death Penalty Ever Moral?", "Why America Must Lead", "What Should We Do About Guns?", "Why Did America Fight the Korean War?", and "Israel's Legal Founding".
