Larue upper kit or JP barrel builer?

Which one is better and why? Price not included. Larue for 800.00 is hard to beat but I know JP has top notch accuracy. I already have an upper and a lower.

For the money, I don’t know if the Larue kit can be beat. Everything but a stripped lower and sighting system. Once you get the kit, you can then order the lower to match for another 200. Can’t get better value, and the accuracy is top class.

If you’re not attached to the upper and lowers you already own, sell em or hang onto them and build another. Nothing wrong with building your own but the Larue kit is unbeatable value.

Decided to follow Stonehendge's build and use a Aero M4E1 enhanced kit and a JP 22" barrel kit.

Larue kit is really nice, but me personally I finally wanted a top tier Grendel build with top velocity and accuracy.

I am new around here and the Grendel but went the Larue way and haven't been disappointed at all ,I have been out just once so far but it shot real well at 100, inch groups factory Hornady ammo not to bad with a new barrel .

Same dilemma then. I have an aero m4e1 upper and lower with a velocy trigger laying around. The larue is 1 heck of deal but man those JP barrels just shoot. I have never bought anything from larue but I am sure he makes quality stuff.

My Larue Ultimate Upper kit (just add stripped lower) has really started to impress me.

This weekend, while not performing First Aid on brain stalled fathers, I also shot a series of groups while developing a load for the 95 V-max.

Of the 10 loads (CFE223), these showed promise. The charges range from 28.6 to 30.7 grains.

These are among the first 200 shots through this barrel.

Are you seriously contemplating the Larue against something else at that price..
As far as how long it takes. Betsis to call and talk to Julie to get current schedule. But they are backed up a little due to holidays. All should be shipped something like 3-12 weeks depending on orders and options. I ordered 10days before Xmas and was told to expect in a week or two from Julie. I did get the FDE upper/lower. But this will be my second and if I could would have one of the SUURG kits too.

Well I made up my mind. I went with the JP. I know it will cost me a little more but this build is all about quality and I willing to spend more to get that. I'm not knocking larue but I feel that the JP quality speaks for it self. So the build is started I will post some pictures when I get it completed.

Don’t think you lost out on anything. Congratulations on your decision, build it and own it. The best part of any endeavor is the satisfaction of a job completed well and to the best of ones ability.

I don’t think you would have lost any thing in the Larue though...

Yes, they don't charge your CC until the item is in shipment.

not amymore. they take it right away on a uu kit. i had to change my color to fde. ude is having problems and would delay my order.
