As you can see again here we can shoot at night! ( this is great in the summer heat !)...

one last picture i wont bore you all anymore.... Note : my sand bag was falling off just after the shot... it has since been secured with cable ties!! ha ha !

That is impressive...lighted targets even. All you need is to pitch a tent and have an address for it, with an internet connection, and you could have UPS regularly drop off ammo...no reason to leave, is there? What's your farthest target berm at?

Ha ha ha!! i dont have to camp!!! i am building a house there and live in it already!!!

as for the farthest berm..... ok, let me explain: I have five shooting options on my property; number one is the range you have seen, Its last berm is 286 meters from the tower. However diagonally on my property i can shoot 386 meters to that same last berm. Unfortunately i seldom shoot that far, mostly out of fear that my misses will go onto the neighbors and i am always a good neighbor...

my third shooting option is from the top of the hill down into the "crater" of my stock pond. this affords me only 107 meters, but is the safest setup for my Barrett. My fourth shooting option is for "fun" shooting at sticks in the pond.... and lastly, if it rains, i shoot from the porch at a target setup i have about 80 meters away....

of course shooting from the porch is loud and it pisses off the wife so i usually only do it when she is away at work on mondays (when i am off) ... ha ha !

sounds and looks like a great time gene, wish i could make it, but it would be a loooooong drive from GA, not to mention getting off work LOL.

I`ll be there in spirit! yall have fun and shoot safe, get loads of pics/video if yall can, id like to see it

I have family in Midlothian, which is in the same region. Unfortunately I have family commitments here in SE Texas the next couple of weeks, but if you guys decide to have a repeat blastfest please let the rest of us schmucks know. Hope the weather ain't too bad.

Same for me. A little rain is no big deal. Heavy rain or ice is a different story which is not expected according to weather .com

Postponing is no problem for me.

Gene, how nasty are the dirt roads out there anyway? How much mud? No 4 wheel drive on my truck. Would I have to rent a tank?
