2017 6.5 Grendel Deals
bigs28 Wrote:any idea what bolt that uses? I don't see it on the ad.

.136, iirc...
The Bear Creek Arsenal 6.5 Grendel barrel in the link (http://www.primaryarms.com/B6-5CM41618-SS) uses a 6.5 Grendel bolt with .136 bolt face depth. The 6.5 Grendel group buy bolt would be a good bolt for this barrel as would the 6.5 Grendel bolt sold by Midway which is probably BCA, Maxim, JP, Odin Works or AA hard use bolt. BCA sell complete 6.5 Grendel BCG on their website for a good price. PA has the Odin BCG in stock for a good price.
with the BCA 6.5 barrel on sale for $71 at PA its difficult to pass up !!!
just when you thought the market hit bottom

Primary Arms has Odin Works 6.5 Grendel BCG on sale, you have to add to the cart to get the sale price. This is a very good 6.5 Grendel BCG at a great price on sale for Fathers Day.

30% off factory second bullets at Midway today. Lots of 6.5 options - most look to be Hornady. I'm backing up the truck on 325 gr Flextips for my 458 socom - the watermelons wont care that they're blemished.

Are the blems accurate enough that you would be comfortable hunting with them?

I have no idea. I personally seem to have the poorest results from Hornady bullets across the board (223/Grendel/308) vs. Lapua/Nosler/Sierra that I generally ignore that they exist . My 458 is relatively new and I just started using the Flextips since they are reasonably priced, expand at low velocity and are accurate enough for a 1x red dot. First time I'm trying the blems.......
I ordered the only. 264 that were lead free. Figured I might as will try them for the price
larue is having a mount sale
