I dont know anything about these magazines. I do know that most any 6.8 mag will feed a 6.5 grendel cartridge if you change out the 6.8 follower to a 6.5 follower.

The upper and lower are different.
From LWRC:

The New 6.8 uppers, Lowers, magazines, etc. that Darren released pictures of in the other thread will not work with any 5.56 AR rifle configurations. Similar to our REPR, it will be its own product line.

You could try building a Grendel off that receiver set, but the magazine bodies were specifically designed for the slightly smaller diameter SPC cartridge.

We had this discussion some time back. One of the guys sent one of these 6.8 polymer mags to Mark at PF and the magazine wasn't going to work well enough to be worth an this endeavor.

Do a search on either AR12.5 or AR13 and you'll find a thread I started that discussed the optimal AR platform for the 6.5 Grendel.

I talked to MagPul product development. They said their engineers do not have enough room between the Grendel stack and the AR mag well internal dimensions to apply enough plastic to resist side bulging. So, they will not be offering a Grendel PMag. Sounds like steel is the most rigid per thickness and the way to go.
My AA steel mag works like a champ.

Well, SpaceX engineers could probably find rigid enough plastic to do the job. At 1/2 the cost. So if MagPul sits on its laurels for another 5 years, some innovative company will find the answer,and do it cheaper.

A5- only for the 10 rounder, down to the 5 rnd. , with the limiter installed. This was for your app. buddy. Gen 3 , 10 rnd. mags.

Drift- I have some specs here for titanium,, & ultra high strength steel,, for the mag body, that would be encased in a polymer. Kinda - it's a major effort to make these for a small market.

Way too spendy.

I would like to have a 6.8 spc mag to do some trials with. Anyone have 1 to spare?

These are recommended for the .22 Nosler cases. Check it out.
