Finally decided the Grendel is probably the best there is available for a general all purpose do it all in a carbine, so I guess I better sign up and get some info from guys in the know.

Thanks for the welcome.
Don't know just yet. Probably buy an upper, but might possibly build. I am doing my research. I have an AR15 and LAR-8 and I think the Grendel could replace both, but more than likely I will keep the 5.56 upper and use the one lower for both. I don't like the weight of the 308 so it might go.
