Just got my 24" Stainless J &T dist. Upper in, my 6-18-40 Nikon Buckmaster comes in tomorrow and im off tomorrow and next week with the rut coming in hard next week. The deer are in deep s**t!

killed a doe yesterday. complete pass through. she walked about 15 yds. i was using 120gr nosler ballistic tip. massive wound on the doe. 115 yds. quartering towards me.

Shot a small buck Friday in New Hampshire with factory 123Gr. Amax. Complete pass through with 1.25" exit hole, everything in between was mush. I beleive it worked better than a nosler ballistic tip... the last deer I shot with a .308 cal ballistic tip had a 30 cal entrance hole and no exit... just a 2" circle of tiny bullet fragments on the opposite side rib cage. Looked like a mini shot gun pattern.

I think I'll use 100 Gr. Amax's next year wHen I go antelope hunting in Wyoming. It should shoot flatter and still do the job.
Small 75# deer... but very tender, and good eating.

Drew blood with mine this weekend. Typical hill country doe at about 100 yds w/ 100 gr NBT. High shoulder shot, full pass through, 1" exit, took ribs & lung tissue with it. Dropped in her tracks.

4 shots ..4 dead deer.. all over 200 Yds ..all massive wounds.. 120 gr Nosler BT's ...not hotloaded

Took a good size doe with my grendel last night. Sixth deer taken with it. Everyone went down with 1 well placed shot. Buck tag left to fill then an elk tag.
