For those that have used them, are they worth the money? Would love to get rid of the sproing noise and might help me with enecting some weaker ammo. I have mine setup to eject the 123gr AMAX well but some of the weaker stuff doesn't cycle as well.
Any benefit by using them?
It will be in the is rifle.

I love it. I don't know if it will help with extraction of weak ammo. Tell us more about that weak ammo.
What buffer do you have in there now?
You can adjust the SCS with different spring and buffer weights. It's a very smooth system compared to a standard recoil spring and buffer.

It only does it with the 120gr Prvi ammo I have tried. Hornady seems to be fine. Plan on loading up some 95gr Vmax for coyotes soon.
On the buffer, I honestly am not positive. I had a few extras and believe it is a standard. I need to weigh them and see.

Once you use one you will never go back to that clanging and banging noise. They are worth it to me and many others that I know that have them in their rifles. I have one in every rifle I own now and will never use anything else, well,,, I like the hydraulic ones very much but am afraid to start finding the one that works for all my rifles. I know that the JPSCS works and never fails and if need be you can get different springs,, which I have never had to use. Great product for an AR.. BANG BANG!!

If you are trying to shoot precision I find it helps. Maybe just in my head! But it is so smooth compared to your standard buffer and spring.
I think they are on their version 2 now...

The bolt carrier feels like it is riding on ball bearings when charging the rifle. Not needed but worth it with any high end build.

I too have a JPSCS coming for my Mk12 lower (hate the "Twang" of that A2 spring). My Vltor A5 is quiet, don't know why, but there is no noise at all from that.
Sorry to drift off topic - what handguard make is that on the OP rifle?

Not worth the money! Go with the Spikes T2 or T3 and their spring. You'll be just as happy and a quarter of the money out of pocket. I haven't noticed any improvement over my spikes setup. I never have gotten the spring noise people complain about from any of my spikes buffers/springs.
I got my JP SCS 2nd hand for a good deal and it turns out I still paid to much.
I was just fighting with mine last night to add another tungsten weight. If you ever try to change out the spring or weights you'll see that the engineering on this thing was subpar at best.
Unfortunately I'm to much money into mine with the spring pack and 3 tungsten weights to toss it and go back to my Spikes T2 buffer. However, I could be talked into the right trade.

I changed out the spring on mine. I don't understand what you mean about sub-par engineering.
Everything went without a hitch, and the unit performs in excess of my expectations. To me, it seems to reduce muzzle climb.
Shooting my 18" Lilja next to my heavier 16" Grendel with Spikes ST-T2 with the same loads, the recoil feels much more pronounced with the 16"/T-2 combo, and muzzle climb is definitely a lot more for some reason.
Where you can really see the value of SCS is subsonic/suppressed. The overall feel and cycling of the gun is just smoother, no question about it. The SCS eliminates the multiple coils of the action spring dragging inside the extension tube, and the spring rate seems to be more of a constant, as opposed to a cascade with the large diameter of the toilet paper roll-sized standard AR15 action spring.

I have the vltor A5 it is great
I have.stock spring and buffer kits
And I have the silent.capture. since I have gotten away of.adjustable stocks to PRS and my favorite the A2 I will be using the silent capture more. I really like it. Runs great on my grendel with the JP adjustable gas block and H2 buffer.
Just wish someone.would.come.up with a better buffer tube for.the A2 then the cheesy plastic ones

If you are talking about the JPSCS for a rifle length buffer tube,, they come with a spacer. BANG BANG!!

Let's start with that bolt you had to remove to get to the spring. It's a soft metal, tiny (3 or 2.5 I can't remember) allen head bolt held in place by red loctite. Neither soft metal nor tiny allen bits mix with red loctitie. With them using red loctite the bolt should have been a hex head or at least a torx head. I didn't get a chance to acknowledge that the bolt must have red or blue loctite on it as I stripped the bolt with very little torque using a soft metal allen bit.
2nd and by far the worse is that cheap key ring retaining ring thing they used to retain the buffer weights. That thing is a nightmare to get off without stabbing yourself. A standard retaining ring ( https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Internal...59&sr=1-23) or an E-clip ( https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Internal...59&sr=1-23) should have been used. I can think of a couple more better solutions than that key ring thing.
The best is where they state in their youtube video that the SCS was designed so that users could assemble and disassembled them at the range. I was in my shop with the thing in a vise last night and I was about to toss it in the trash.
I'm not saying that the performance is no better than the T2, if that was the case I would have already tossed mine. However, the increase in performance is no where near the increase in price. If it was a 25% increase in price it might be worth it.

Just out of curiosity why do you guys care what noise your buffer makes?
