Great deer! Great rack! Make no mistake, .264 kill deer just as well.

I will be next week, i've been using my Dpms .308 so i'm familiar with the AR platform. I'm really looking to try this bad boy out.

You hit the nail on the head! Im 6'2" @ weigh 265 and the dpms is to heavy. That is exactly
why I ordered my Grendel, I wanted something with ooomph @ distance. And doesnt weigh 50265 lbs. Its not that I can't haul it around, I just want something as lite as my Savage. 308

yeah, that gun is like 11 pounds all up. I had stutter-stepped and stalked for an hour and was sitting when that one walked out. I will have one built up, but not for this season - too late

i have killed 3 deer this year with my grendel using 123 A-MAX all three deer dropped like a ton of bricks

Hunting this weekend with one of my Grendel's, and hunting with my T/C handgun Grendel in December. I've taken more animals in Africa with .264 than any other caliber, at least 20 different species, including Zebra, Kudu, Lechwe, and other large species, with one shot kills. I'm not worried about whitetail. I'll be using 100 grain TTSX.

Killed two does this evening with my Grendel. They both walked out at about 125 yds. I shot one in the neck as she was walking away. They other ran in an arc across in front of me and stood broadside at 300. A shot behind the elbow took out the top of the heart. No blood trails to follow. First blood on the Grendel.

RangerRick i did not recover any bullets all complete pass thru they left a exit wound about the size of a quarter.
