Can't wait to take it out for a test drive. The build details:
- Northtech Defense billet receiver set
- AA 16" Lite barrel w/WCI pepper pot brake
- Seekins SP3R V3 12" rail
- Voodoo Innovations lifecoat integral bolt carrier with AA bolt
- DPMS lower parts kit with Seekins enhanced parts and Strike Industries takedown pins
- Magpul STR stock and Ergo Tactical Deluxe grip
- Geissele SD-E trigger
- Vortex Viper HS 6-24x50 scope, Bobro Vortex cantilever QD mount.
Still need a bipod and a good sling. Put more care and feeding into this one than I ave any other build, to include lapping the receiver and bedding the barrel. She's my baby :p:o
Oh, and burnt bronze cerakote, factory for the receivers, Mad Pig Customs for the rail.
ETA: I had the Bobro mount already. Great mount, but will swap for a 20MOA mount eventually.

Looks great. I love the burnt bronze. Probably my favorite color.

I bet your 6.5 Grendel will shoot as good as she looks.

Beautiful rifle; how are you liking the scope? That's the same thing I put on my Grendel, but I used a Burris P.E.P.R. mount. I love it.

Thanks. Wouldn't be able to give you any impressions yet until I get it to the range. Out of town for a week, so I expect to test drive it then.

Grendels are like rabbits, you close one up in a dark box and soon there is another one. Wait a bit longer and there will soon be a whole flock of 'em! The hardest part of having a Grendel is the population control.

Have a 20" BHW on mine. Most accurate barrel I've had on an AR, but this is also my first Grendel, so I can't say if it's the barrel or the round. Broke it in with good Hornady ammo, and now it shoots everything the same, even Wolf reloads. I will be taking it out either this afternoon or tomorrow and will see if I can get some pics of the groups. Unfortunately, it has still been a pain to find ammo or reloading stuff around me, so I'm trying not to shoot it a ton until I can get my ammo cache built back up.

It must be true about 30 days ago I bought a grendel upper, Now there is a send upper and a lower lacking only the buffer assembly. By this time tomorrow the new grendel will be born.

Let me know what you think of the scope. I'm currently trying to decide what to put on my new AA Grendel. I have the winter to decide. I have a semi cheap "Osprey" 6-14x score. I paid $350 for it and have a feeling I over paid. Could have put the money in a better name. Found a guy selling these at a gun show. Wtf did I know?

Yeah burnt bronze is tops, I'd love a nice black over burnt bronze distressed. I'm not even Asian but I hope it's ok to cover another man's rife! Love the hand gaurd. Is that adams arms piston kit in it as well? Id like to find a rail that would fit a superlative Arms piston kit.
