BCG Auto or Semi?

I'm in the process of gathering parts for my Grendel build and was going to order a Bravo Company BCG to house the Grendel spec bolt. Can I order the Auto version to use for my semi-auto rifle or does it have to be semi-auto BCG? Thanks for your help!

from an operational standpoint, i think the auto carrier would work fine. mine does anyway

is BCM BCG as good as it gets or are there better ones out there? I just want to get a good quality carrier and be done with it.

slimjim. I use a M16 legal Danial Defence carrier. BCM carriers are great too. I have both and as long as they are the heavy carrier your good to go. An M16/AR15 carrier should not be cut out of the bottom back of the carrier. The top and bottom in the back should be the same lenght to the cutout. Danial Defence and BCM are of the highest quality.
