New Bolt 6.5 Grendel

This one is a 700 action,20" 1in8 5r twist Bartlein barrel in B&C varmint stock with Jewell trigger. She's a sweetheart. shoots a little under 3/4" with ammo off the shelf. Looking for pet hand load now I think she'll tighten up!

Congrats on a fine selection. Hope you enjoy your bolt Grendel as much as I have been enjoying mine.

Loads for the AR will work in your bolt action, some go with a little more pressure in the bolt actions but with very long brass life from Lapua or Hornady brass with those 50k loads which have enough punch and trajectory why push it.

As far as loads there are lots of combinations that work well, this is a cartridge with lots of potential for accuracy. Powder there are lots that work well seems good choices are 8208, CFE223 and Leverevolution are 3 that are very popular. 8208 is best with bullets 123 gr or lighter, CFE223 works with any of the bullet weights.

I use more 130gr bullets than any other weight and CFE 223 with Berger hybrids and Nosler LR Accubonds the sweet spot for my boltie is around 30.3 gr COAL 2.27 to 2.29 depending on bullet. Normal disclaimer of data applies these loads work well in my gun, work up your loads for your gun.
