That's right I am afraid it's coming, another Clinton White House. It's looking like all media including ones you didn't think would are not only helping her get elected but it seems they don't really even want anything else but that. I feel the second amendment will be changed. And it will be slowly at first and then bigger changes as it goes. But what I am telling you now is to just prepare. What does that mean to you? It means get anything you might want for the next immediate three or four years as soon as you can and for sure before the end of the year. This means parts ammunition and any other reloading supplies that you might feel you can use. Let a word to the wise be sufficient.

Ok I will play.
First let me say that I consider myself a Christian, family values, fiscal conservative, small (as little as possible) government law abiding 2nd amendment kinda guy. As time goes by my disdain for politics and what it has done to our country grows.
That being said, what makes you think Hillary can be any worse than Obama.
Fwiw, I don't like trump very much either.

The real danger is in the Supreme court. A hillary appointee will definitely be hostile to the second amendment. A Trump appointee could go either way. This is not the place for politics but this next election will have a major effect on the second Amendment not to mention other concerns.

All i am saying is this, hilliary is gonna get to choose for sure one {and most likley more} supreme court justice to ADD to what obama has already added. So there is your "any worse" part. This belongs right here as this is the "room 2A" place for 2A discussion. Your 2nd rights wont be "taken away" but they willbecome more restricted for sure. The availability of "things" will get tough again. Those who have the right foresight are gonna get tited of fighting for those who dont care, i see it happening already.

I got stung during the Clinton Ban. Since then I have made appropriate contingencies as many others have too. To any fence sitters or newbies, they would be wise to listen to your advice.

I agree with your Supreme Court concerns.
These are worrisome times for sure. A bigger future concern for me is confiscation not panic buying.

Fear naught.. or @ least fear less "than the the worst". Hilliarys husband was elected in '94 and that same year got a 10 year AR ban passed; so expect the coming ban to hit early in her Presidency. She will probably just dust off the old failed ban and re institute it. But.. this is not 1994. We have you tube now. We have CAD/CAM. We have 3D printing. We can make make our own uppers and lowers. I suspect we can use much the same the same technology to print our own stocks. About the only bottle necks will be magazines and primers. Neither one cost a lot-if we buy now.
And another thing to consider, politically..that class of people who now legally own firearms is also that last remaining class that works every day-and pay taxes. If the Clinton Presidency targets its tax base, thing will fall apart quicker.

i really dont fear confiscation, after all that would take along time to actually implement as they have no clue as to how to find all the guns. no, i am aprehensive about how they will go about making lives miserable by taxing ammo sales and gun purchaces like they have done in seattle, WA. they wont "take" your guns, just make them for the honest man expensive to shoot. again i want to say its about the SECOND AMENDMENT as it stands now.

I know some of us are resigned to the notion of a Clinton presidency. I for one am not.
My advice is to wait until Tuesday's election results are in. If they go the way I expect them to go, we'll be facing a choice between the Bern and the Donald.
The immediate 2A prospects will be better with that face-off.

I'm going to prepare and get some AR uppers n lowers, mags, Flash Hiders plus if I can I'll get ammo.
This election is going to be a mess, imo neither canidate is worth a damn. I hate Hillary and Trump is a loose freaking cannon. Plus he doesn't believe in modern sporting weapons or at they call them assault weapons. The thing is there are more important issues that need attention, yet they all take their time and effort to pass laws to erode our 2 admendment. If they are note careful a rebellion or civil war could start. I know I'm not giving them any of my guns without a fight. Maybe some will just lay down, so the question is what will you do?

i don't think there is any more rabid anti-constution, anti-2nd socialist on earth than HRC. i'm from arkansas and i saw her and bills politics from day one.
what i don't get is how people could possibly think trump is somehow worse than HRC-?? - sure trumo is a crook but he is not a socialist criminal like HRC.
i'll take a normal crook over a psyco socialist any day.

I think we are all going to l make prudent plans for a long dry spell. But I find it very hard to believe that the government of this country would go to war with the tax payers of this country.. Want to yes, but foolish enough to go to war with 50 million people who have another 100 million supporters no.

I think you are right about going to war with the citizens.
Problem is that making cerain ferarms illigal to possess gives the government the authority to raid places they think those weapons exist. All it will take is a few well-publicized and "justified" actions to cause the most of us to abandon our weapons or hide them so deeply that the result is the same.
We need to have these things in mind as we go to the poles on Tuesday and in November.

well stated JASMITH, and the actual reason for this whole thread is to try and NOT panic but use this surplus in everything right now to prepare for a possible dry spell. everything is in surplus so why not load up and not be wishing youhad. i was just trying to give a bit of advise. prices and availability have not been this good for years so dont waste them. for goodness sake dont panic, but im buyin,,,,,

Here is a thought... Buy a nice politically correct bolt action Mini Howa in 6.5 Grendel. That way you will have a politically correct reason to buy Grendel ammo/reloading supplies in the future. You will also end up with another Grendel so you cant loose.
