I like the metallic look, and it's great to see the Grendel skull resume it's rightful place at long last.

I like it, but it does funny things on my two Apple products. The banner goes all the way across, but the forum is only about 2/3 that width. It looks normal on my PC's though!

On my PC, the banner extends past the right edge of the forum.
There's the skull, three cartridges, and then the "d" in 6.5 Grend is the last letter even with the right edge. el Forum is off screen. I haven't a clue what can be done about it.

Weird. The forum portion extends to right side of the letter ""o" in "forum" on my IPad and IPhone.

Banner and landing page look great!
I don't envy John's chore of implementing all of the exceptions needed to make the HTML look right in the multiple browsers and versions, some of which may be rather old. We can help by including the OS (including version) and the browser (including version) when we describe the wierdness. Cheers!

OK, if it helps, I'm using the latest iOS (5.0) on both my IPhone and IPad2.
Everything looked identical on my various PC's and the IPhone/IPad2 until the changes were made. I definitely like the changes, just that they look funny on my Apple products. Stan, unless he has upgraded, is running a very old Windows OS if I remember right, and on a small monitor.

In my android phone it looks perfect. On my macbook running 10.6 it looks perfect too. Great job.
Bwaites: go into your setting and adjust the browser settings. Its been.awhile since i had an iphone but you should be able to change whether or not your screen auto adjusts to the page content. Like i said i use safari on my laptop and im getting no problems

I'm not bothered by the banner going off the screen. (The previous banner did, too.) So, no need for John to do extra work to adjust it for my benefit.

My Mac OS X 10.5.8 with Firefox 5.1 seem to be happy with the changes.

Bill, I did have then I changed my "view" Tab then "Zoom" settings to 100% versus 125% in Windows Explorer, Safari if I recall has the same settings maybe under differant Tab though
