Haven't used that particular BCG, but can say the nitride finish is far nicer than standard phosphate. Aim surplus has treated me well in the past and has these on sale at a similar price every so often.

Wow that is a bargain. Makes me nervous though, very little info on steels used etc. Definitely will be interested to hear if anyone has tried them.

i'm thinking about picking the SMI up but i also found one at Joe Bob's for a few bucks more. not sure yet. maybe i will wait until all the specials come out and jump on one. here's Joe Bob's bcg.

i think sprinta has BCGs (5.56) for $69 bones -- -

deals are everywhere right now --

i'm currently running a AIM 7.62x39 BCG with the 264 sprinta and i got one of those stripped 6.5 grendel bolts from red X for the the m4 6.5G saber barrel-- both of them run like champs --

it is a good time to pick up a few spares for which ever 6.5/264 bolt you need ---

i can recall having a 6.5 bolt on order from AA for the longest time after that first panic-- sort of a smoke um if you got um deal today--

i do want to state there is a .125 deep and a .135 deep bolts make sure your barrel and bolt match. most of the bolt/BCGs i'm seeing on sale lately are the .125" type for 7.62/264lbc----

ah1whiskey, that's my biggest problem trying to find one for 264lbc with the .125 depth. if i need to i can go with the 7.62x39. i'm still looking, don't want to get an inferior unit though. i'm not a blaster, just shoot targets at my leisure so i think most bolts will do me.

i ordered up a 7.62x39 bolt from Surplus Ammo today for $60. i wanted to get the whole bcg but i'll get them in about 2 weeks when i have more money. won't hurt to have spares.
