Trigger suggestions for my target rifle

Excellent fit, finish and functionality.

I use clamp on style only. The adjustment screw faces the muzzle end and is easy to access. Positive detents or clicks on the adjustment screw. 3 clicks per revolution that are always perfect. I can shut the gas off for single action, or turn it down for supressor use or open it up for low recoil loads.

The .936 diameter SLR block will only fit key mod handguards and works best with a straight gas tube.

The other sizes fit a 1.75" inside diameter handguard with no problems and use a standard gas tube.

Best block around.

The new Gen 3 models have a new style screw and there is a new smaller overall size Just now released to improve handguard clearance if the hand guard is going over the gas block.

They even make them in Titanium.

Pretty sure I am sold on SLR. Too bad that the titanium ones are only in set screw. I will probably order a gas tube from them when I order the gas block. Luckily, the handguard I have is keymod.

No issues at all unless you have a .936 diameter gas bock location on your barrel.

If you do, a totally round hand guard will not fit, and you will have to use a key mod with the clearance provision under the top rail area.

I don't own a SLR gb but I do own a Syrac and it works without issue, if the SLR works as well as the Syrac; and I'm sure it does, the only difference is price paid. That said, I also own a PRI lo-pro adjustable = $89.00, a Radical Firearms adjustable = $39.99 they all are working, doing what adjustable gasblocks do! Only one issue with the RF gb, it was EXTREMELY tight, gb id=.751" and gb land on the 12.5" Lilja barrel = .750

I will keep that in mind. I do have a habit of convincing myself expensive = better. Sometimes, I do need to keep that in check.

In most cases I agree, you get what you pay for! But I personally am just not an equipment snob. I always look for high bang for buck ratios.

That's what I try to do, but them I'm all "oooh shiney!" Followed by "where did my paycheck go?" And "why do I now have a sharps rifle?"

Still think I will be getting either the SLR or Syrac though. I will just do more research into them before I make the purchase.

Trigger wise, I lean toward Wilson Combat TTU. I have the fore mentioned TTU, 3lb Timney single stage, Geissele SD-3G, Geissele SD-C and Geissele SD-E. My favorite is the Wilson Combat TTU, I do wish they would make one with a flat trigger blade though. (I also have more experience with single stage triggers, so I'm a little bias.)

I will have to look into the Wilson combat trigger. Timney is a brand that I am very familiar with, have to prevent myself from acting like a brand name fan boy and always going with them because of it. First aftermarket trigger in my 700 was a timney.

For the most part, I am currently leaning towards the Geissele. The only thing that would stop me, is I am a little iffy about going with a two stage.

I was a little iffy about doing a two-stage as well, but after throwing in a Geissele SSA-E I wouldn't have it any other way. I got so comfortable with the two-stage feel that I just threw a Tubbs T7T two-stage in my Remmy 700. There aren't many two-stages available for bolt guns, and this one was considerably more than most single stage triggers. But after shooting it this last week I've convinced myself it was more than worth it.

That would be fantastic, but I did not see the clamp on in .936, which is what I am in need of.

Doh! My bad, I missed the size you needed. But if you're going well that heavy of a barrel, I guess there's not much of a point going titanium anyways, since it's mainly for weight savings.
