Just picked up the new Guns and Ammo - Complete Book of the AK47 and
there is an article on a prototype AK Marc Krebs built in 6.5 Grendel.
AA is mentioned as providing a barrel and reamers for the project.

If anyone has the ability to wring the most out of the Grendel/AK combination, I would think Krebs would be the guy to do it.

Just read that last night in the grocery store while picking up potato chips (had a craving). Very intriguing, and something that's needed to happen for a quite a while. . . .

I've been told that a tuned AK can turn in some impressive accuracy. Would like to hear more. Might even implications for the military applications debate.

The article made is sound like a rack grade barrel and being a prototype, I think that Krebs many be able to get
some really fine accuracy out of his project as he has more time to develop it. It would be really a great weapon if
he could achieve AK reliability and about 1 to 1.5 MOA accuracy. Hope we hear more about this project in the future.
