I'm wanting to get one of these for my build and I was planning on getting the spring kit as well.

Should I get the Heavy Version or Standard Version buffer?

Barrel/gas system is 24" barrel with extended length gas system.
Currently I'll be running a standard carrier, no low mass carrier at this time.

Because of the long barrel and ELGS, will I really need the heavier weights or will the standard version be OK and I should be able to tune it with the springs?

You will want to get the spring package and lean towards the lighter weight springs.

The heavy spring won't allow a 24" RLGS with .094" gas port to lock back sometimes.

Thanks man that is what i suspected but wanted confirmation from those that know.
The port is .094 and is an ELGS so i was thinking i might need to consider going lighter.

I was thinking og getting a lightweight carrier as well but i dont think it will be necessary so ill save that money

man i missed that deal. I get there email specials each week and waited too long yesterday to check it out. I cant believe it was that cheap.
