Adding weight to rifle length buffers

In addition to an extra power recoil spring, would replacing one or two of the steel buffer weights with high density tungsten weights in a rifle length buffer have any beneficial effect such as additional recoil reduction? Has anyone tried this?

Along the same topic, where could tungsten weights be purchased without having to buy a complete buffer? I would rather not have extra buffers around if I can avoid it. Using machinist stamps, or engraving tools to indicate which buffers have added weights would be an easy task.

The AR15 rifle buffer is already 5.1-5.2oz, which is plenty of weight. What gas system length and gas port diameter are you trying to buffer and spring?

I have a rifle length gas system, and the gas port is whatever Alexander Arms puts on their 19.5 inch Shilen barrels. I don't really want to dismount the gas block just to measure the gas port if I can avoid it.

I tried seating bullets deeper into the case to see if that would reduce my flattened primers (written about in the reloading thread), and while one load showed a marked improvement in accuracy, another load got worse. Both loads are under max loads.
