Hope i dont ruffle any feathers here as this isnt a grendel, but been a member for a few years now and lost everything in the last crash. I started updating my albums and thought I would share these pics so all the older guys that know me would see part of the reason I havent been around as much. I hope to reestablish my other albums tonight and have my grendel back together soon(long story).
Im planning a bolt grendel build soon so as soon as I finish it ill post up results. Comments and criticism welcome, thanks for looking.

Oops! description of pics would be nice I guess!! Pic 1 is finished rifle, 260 Ackley built on a Rem 700 LA with Rock Creek barrel, MCM A3/5 stock, PTG bottom metal with AICS mags, DNZ 1 pc mount with a vortex 6-24x50 FFP moa reticle. All smithing was done by yours truly. (New lathe has kept me from showing up here much)
Pic two is of factory lapua .260 brass on left fireformed .260AI on right.
Pic 3 is a 6 shot group on left at 500 measuring @2.75" 5 shots on right measuring close to same. (two different shooters)
Pic 4 is another group at 500, didnt measure, all these groups are with FFing loads, really anxious to see what itll do with neck sized FF brass. Oh yeah, these are all 123 Amaxes.
Last but not least is a doe kill at 501 lasered yds. 123 Amax over 42 grs IMR 4350. 2800ish fps. Shot shortly after sighting in rifle and running back to house and loading five more to hunt with! Complete pass thru and she staggered about 4 ft and collapsed.
This may not excite most but being my first rifle build on my own lathe and with no guidance is very satisfying to me!! Any questions, comments, criticisms, etc. are welcomed.
