Opinions on this upper?

I will use a 80% lower that I finish out, using an A2 stock and a Geissele SSA-E.
I'm looking for 20" to 24" bbl, medium to heavy/bull.
Will be used for long range paper & steel, and up to deer sized critters.


I can't decide to build or buy an upper. I'm watching a couple of uppers on GB.com

Also considering the 20" Shilen barrel/bolt at Midway.

Thoughts or opinions on the GB link above? Let me have it, you won't hurt my feelings. Pro's and con's.

I've never shot a side charging AR. Thoughts/opinions?

Quality of parts in above link: barrel? bolt? I'm not familiar with them.
Mega upper and AA bolt, I'm familiar with.

Young Mfg is a quality company, back when the craze was chrome bcg Young was the one to get. Now everyone is in Boron and Nitride. The barrel is lower quality but I believe people get good results with there's.

I have the mega side chargining upper with young national match bolt. Self build with a Lilja barrel. I couldn't ask for better groups. A side charger is the only way to go when shooting prone or with a scope.
