I just put a Vais on mine tonight .Mostly to get rid of the flash hider it had on it .Ignorant people like politicians don't like flash hiders here in Kalifornia .

Arnie, what is the net result of the Vias brake? Muzzle rise, noise, shooter on next bench, ect

The Vais seems to work ok .Since I have a 24 inch heavy barrel it didn't really have enough recoil to pull me off the scope .I can see my hits through the scope just fine but it does seems to be a little tamer . Not much noise but it will raise some dust in dry conditions if your prone since it blows out all the way around the brake .My barrel was already threaded but a friend of mine threaded his barrel and when he put it on ,its such a tight fit you can hardly tell its not part of the barrel.
