Factoring wait time are there any barrels you would recommend besides PF due to the wait time. i just want to be able to use what ever barrel I choose out to 600 yrds consistently

JP Enterprise and Lilja rarely have wait times and ship very quickly. You can get JP and Criterion barrels from Brownell’s and JSE Surplus sell JP.

I'm looking for one too. I'm thinking about a odin works, larue, or a sons of liberty gunworks. Heard good things about each.

Joshfuller56, sorry just saw the question you addressed to me. My PF will shoot .5-.75, the others are Faxon 20" group buy that shoots 1-1.25" and a Faxon Hvy that seems to shoot 1-1.5". Now you have to factor in that I am old, shakey and with dimming eyes. One of you young fellas could probably do better with each of them. If you were shooting steel any one of them would do. If you are hunting you need to learn to hunt and get into 100 yd shots. He he.

Quick side question. Is the charging handle the same in .223 and 6.5g or other ar15 bolts?

same charging handle, can be used for either 223 or 6.5 Grrr... probably other cals in AR15 as well.

this thread has been very helpful. i am gonna pull the trigger for the pf barrel i posted above and get the non reciprocating side charging upper as well. gonna get the gas block and bolt all from pf with the barrel. is that a good route or should i piece that together as well. know i am looking into what trigger to get as i want a nice break on it.
