Keep an eye on that mount. Some of us (not me, fortunately) have had the Aero lightweight mounts failure over time. The mounts were designed for the lighter recoil of a 5.56. I'm not saying you'll have a problem but it's possible.

Thanks for that info. Wow that's crazy, I'll keep an eye on it. Do you think the brake will reduce recoil to help that? The brake i bought said it reduces recoil by %83. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

Hmm...not sure what to make of those claims. Seems like the marketing department used some special marketing math!

It does look like this brake is essentially the Alamo Four Star brake which according to the following link is top notch. I bet it'll shoot damn smooth!

I'm still curious how they came up with that number.

I also read on them that if regular but stock movement from recoil is 4", with this equipped it reduces the stock recoil to only 0.25". I guess I'll find out

On a side note I got some of these Accu-Wedges from Amazon. Wow they work great! They totally have stopped the rattling/shaking between upper and lower by the two pins. I did have to trim them though. They work better than expected.
