I use jp bolts because criterion and krieger headspace using jp bolts, amd that's what I run.
If I had to choose just 1 bcg... its a coin toss but probably the SRC, just because it looks cooler. Fit and finish of both are on par, metallurgy is also equal, both function perfectly so it comes down to the useless aesthetics. Something about it saying Sharps Rifle Co on the side makes me think it's got more "it" factor.

SIONICS & SOLGW are all my go-to BCG's for price point vs value and I have no problem recommending them for self/home defense weapons when building to TDP specs.

Zen , Sharps Rifle Companys BCGs definitely have a CDI factor of 10.

My go-to bolt carriers now are Bootleg, since you can adjust the gas on them right through the ejection port with a flathead screwdriver.
Thats kind of a must when talking suppressed, but I also put one in my 17.6 MLGS Grendel since MLGS 18 rifles have a bit more plug dwell time than I like.
For bolts, I have not had any issues with AA, Precision Firearms, or the Monster logo forum bolts, and I have an Ultrabolt on the way.
For cam pins, I like to polish the articulating surfaces on mine to ensure smoother rotation through the places they touch in the upper.
Alexander Arms probably has/had the best firing pin with the tri-lobal shaft, which will have the least friction inside the channel.
So my current ideal BCG would be:
Ultrabolt
Bootleg Adjustable Gas Carrier that passes armorers gauges
AA trilobal firing pin
Captive Firing Pin Retaining Pin
Lantac cam pin
NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO
CCW, CQM, DM, Long Range Rifle Instructor

Brownells has a "lifetime" guarantee on their BCG.
I have a spare for both Grendel and 223. I always carried an extra when I used to play the NRA highpower game. Never had a failure on the 223.

What is their "lifetime"? The lifetime guarantee on some Bushnell products is for an estimated lifetime of one year.

Let's be honest, how many companies actually make their own BCGs? A couple? From what I've read, four companies make everyone's BCGs? As long as the carrier meets mil spec, the bolt is of paramount importance in these rifles.
Given this, I have a Brownells bcg, with their bolt and some toolcraft carriers with a monster bolt, and a black rifle company bolt. They all work well. The biggest thing to remember is the Brownell bolts are shorter so if you have to replace the firing pin, your have to use theirs. The others use a standard length bolt, so you can use any mil spec fitting pin.
