Indeed. at as low as 15 cents a bullet for reloading, I initially wrote them off as junk. Until these threads and I started shooting them. not only are they crazy effective, I've also found them to be the single most forgiving bullet in Grendel for accuracy. You have to try, to make ammo that shoots them poorly. This is particularly noteworthy in Grendel, which is one of the most finicky cartridges I've found when it comes to accuracy. But every barrel shoots every load well, if it's a 90 TNT. I love this bullet.

Well though the 129 gr. Hornady sp's are doing OK I think I will eventually switch to this bullet simply because it seems to give the right amount of penetration for killing hogs around cattle. In fact I went back to using my 223 upper simply to limit penetration and accept the occasional lost pig. The 129 gr. Spire points act like good big game bullets exiting a lot of the time with nice round and not so big exits. In fact if I didn't end up shooting around cattle so often I would not have any reservations about using it at all.
