A couple things about the CZ, a good pillar and bed job is a good thing for the CZ, IMO the other two could use a different stock but the factory stock is serviceable on them.

The safety on the CZ is backwards like said above but if you have shot a hammered gun it will not be awkward as it's operation is not much different than pulling back a hammer on a Marlin. One of the things I like about the CZ is the single set trigger. There are after market bolt handles (larger) and scope rail mounts for the CZ as well.

I'll be a little sacrilegious here. Don't get me wrong, I love the Grendel and have three of them. But if I was going to buy a bolt action 6.5, it would be a Creedmore. The Grendel is an awesome round for the AR-15 platform. I've got no use for an AR-10, but for a boltie, I'd go Creedmore.

The creedmoor is the ugly cousin to a georgous Swede, seriously a long action is needed to get the best out of it and then you may aswell use a Swede

I don't know if its the best bolt Grendel but my Howa Heavy barrel has been a pleasant surprise. I normally take a new rifle out for a range session and than start tweaking the bedding etc to improve its performance. After my first range session with factory ammo I was impressed with its performance using factory ammo so I decided to leave it alone and just try some handloads. With very little effort with two different bullets and three powders its easily a less than MOA rifle with a 6x heavy duplex scope. For southern whitetail hunting it certainly more than adequate. I am also a sucker for smooth operating bolts and good triggers, this little gun has than both.

I did modify the magazine and lighten the trigger, both easily done. The stock is adequate but I will work on trimming it down to my liking. Just my take on my Howa. I will be buying a youth model for my grandson.

I own all 3 and wont rehash my problems with the Ruger American Predator Grendel. You can look it up in the archives if it matters. The gun shot well, was very accurate but I battled feeding issues right from the onset. Anyway.........

It?s a toss up for me between the Howa and CZ.

The CZ is more aesthetically pleasing to me. More trim and balanced, has finer lines, than the Howa.

I prefer metal mags, so, CZ gets the nod again.

I think the CZ trigger is a more adjustable and an overall better trigger right out of the box. But I acknowledge that?s highly subjective.

My Howa is less bullet picky and slightly more accurate than the CZ. So there you go, win for Howa!

The Howa has more available mods and accesssories. Another advantage for Howa.

I purchased the Howa action, a 22? HB, from Brownells and then a Walnut stock from them too. I?m pretty sure it?s Boyds Mini Action stock. Fit and finish is fine, dropped right in no complaints there but, it is way overbuilt, way too heavy for the ?min-action?. They could shave off at least 25% of the wood and it would still plenty strong enough. IMO. So, another win for CZ.

The Howa has a slight edge in feeding, the CZ in extraction. Draw.

Lastly, the Howa bottom ?plastic and mag latch? is a real issue. So, you?ll need to spend another $150 or so to upgrade those right out the box, to be more competitive with the CZ.

You’ll need to upgrade the Howa bottom plastic and latch right out of the box to even the playing field. IMO. if your ok with that, then either one works.

Maybe I should find a new handle. I was drilling manager for a company here in Oklahoma, but retired about 5 years ago. I'm married and my girls are grown, so I haven't done any "bossing" in quite a while.

Well, good to meetcha. Retired from frac. Was a treater. Long stint as a machinist/CNC programmer and mfg. Mgr. I wouldn't change the handle. It's too cool.
