The paint jobs is top notch! One of the nices I've seen! I'm looking at optics how do you like the Elite 6-24x50? Pro's and con's?

This was Bushnells early model. Their first high magnification model targeted at getting into the tactical shooting market. It is First Focal plane, mil dot with mil turrets. It is illuminated green reticle. It has the side parallax adjustment.
From 6-20 power it's very nice glass. From 20-24 the parallax can't quite get it as clear as some of the nicer scopes such as NightForce or S&B. However the price is not $1800-$2500 either. One of the downfalls with the early scopes was not enough turret adjustment. If you shoot long ranger, you will probably need a 20moa base. This scope is a couple of years old and not made anymore. The ones offered now have been improved in all areas. I just bought (2) 3-21x50 on a group by from Snipers Hide from George Gardner at GAP. He was the designer of the GAP2 reticle and the new Bushnell HDMR is being offered with the reticle. I was at a match with him in October and was able to check out the scope on his rifle before they were made for sale. I sold a NightForce to buy the new Bushnell. If you're looking for a new scope, don't blow off the new HDMR or the Tactical Elite Series scopes from Bushnell. The glass is very high quality and operationally, they are top notch. The only thing they are less on is price. New price is $1250. NightForce is $2150.
