Mark (at Precision Firearms), please, please start a new thread. If you are taking orders for the "Group Buy" what the best way for a Forum Member to do so?
Don't get me wrong, I thank you for all your efforts in this project but some clarity would be appreciated.

Hurray! They are! With the caveat that if you order more than two, you will be pushed to the next batch...That seems fair. That way those who want more can wait and they may not have an out-and-out order cancellation, so there should be no hard feelings.

I was the same way, just like Tedward, but got them anyway expecting to pay the $76. Like Ted, I thought "no biggie", I was glad for opportunity to preorder. Mark said he would manually fix those where the discount did not work. I suspect when they put it back up this afternoon, they didn't insert the right discount for them. Sounds like you did get the 5%, I would ensure they know about your order...even though I bet they know already. Good luck, hope it works out.

Budda, the code was given out earlier on this forum. I suspect it wasn't public knowledge, that the bolts would pop up as 15% discount, but for forum members only. You insert it at the checkout, just below your listed/ordered items.

Please excuse my ignorance here, but if I have a barrel/bolt combo on the way very shortly, is there any reason I would want to get one of these bolts as well?
Is it just to have an extra one? Or something else...?

I think people just want a spare one of these as they are the 9310 steel. I have a Les Baer bolt in my current setup and have over a couple thousand rounds with no issue. I have not used hand loads so I think the pressures are safe and I see no signs of wear.
If you have one you should be fine and there are more coming in a few months as advertised on PF site.
K, thanks. I missed out on one of the barrel group buys (but managed to get into the other one) so didn't want to miss out on something because I didn't know enough to jump on it.
I won't be finishing my build for another couple of months (who am I kidding? I may finish it right away!) so can worry about a spare bolt down the road.

Crap I missed the part that said to order something else when you order the bolt' I've emailed PF to add something to my order.

Dangit, I ordered 5 bolts for my 5 barrels and I forgot to use the coupon code. Which sucks because the shipping charge is quite high for just 5 bolts. Oh well I guess.

According to the note on the PF site, the limit is 2, and that orders for more than 2 will be filled on the next batch of bolts.
