I think the $65 was a guess from Maxim when Frank was asked very early on if this was even possible. Then there were issues of the extractor which Maxim didn't make, but I think Mark does. It is on par with AA and Les Baer, where AA has availability issues and Les Baer is Les Baer, The Forum will get a discount code which should help us. It will be what it will be. It will be nice to have another supplier for many people. It seems that Maxim and PF will make this venture a "partnership", which will help them too.

I talked to Frank and Precision made some recommendations for some slight changes and Frank sent them the new bolts with changes made for more testing. Frank and Precision Firearms of course what to get these bolts right the first time. Maybe Precision Firearms could add more detail?

Working on some changes and Frank just sent me another Partial Completed bolt to verify Dimensions.
We are also finalizing the Extractor drawings and sending them over to Frank to machine them. Our CNC's are all tied up at the moment. This will not hold up the project as we already have 100 here with 200 more in various stages of progress. Mark Hostetter Precision Firearms

No upper yet, was waiting to see if Precision was going to offer a package as mentioned earlier. I would like Billet for sure, I appreciate any and all input this is my first actual AR build, last time around I purchased a complete upper.

Update from Friday but late on my post.
I spoke to Maxim and he is running the bolts. They have tested the previous batch and are moving forward. This process will go faster and all manufacturing steps are moving forward. so, good news. "Got Bolts?" will soon be "Got Bolts!"

So in review from following the last 26 pages over the last few months: We await the word from Mark at Precision Firearms for ordering information on the bolts and any other packages he may have; provides the Forum members a discount code to use while ordering from Precision Firearms...right?
