Heck, the Alexander Arms website no longer even advertises rifles or uppers with barrels shorter than 16 inches. And I can think of only two people (you and Fortier) who say much about 6.5 SBRs.
Contrast that to 6.8 SPC gun makers, who offer many rifles with barrels less than 16 inches, and the multitude of 6.8 fans who constantly talk about how good that cartridge is in short barrels.
Plus, searching YouTube shows a number of videos which showcase 6.8 SBRs, but not so much as a single Grendel SBR video.
Is it any wonder that 6.5 Grendel is not perceived as a good SBR caliber?
