I had already voted with my 16 and 20 inch barrels, when I saw that there was no 28" I just didn't worry about it. There are no more than a big handful of 28" barrels out there anyways. 28" barrels need an overlength gas system to get max performance, my rifle length system runs great with factory ammo, but doesn't allow much pushing of the envelope. That's fine, as it shoots factory Hornady great, and 107 Sierras lights out.
