First time building AR platform, need advice

I used a DPMS Low Pro receiver. It's extruded instead of forged and the body of is quite a bit thicker but the area where the barrel threads are the same and that's a little troubling but seems to be fine and I've heard no reports of that being a problem. It doesn't have the brass deflector which dents the cases on the way out, or a ejection port cover. The brass all ends up in a neat little pile over my right shoulder and not deformed in any way.
The one I bought fits my PSA lower like a glove. Unless I see something I haven't noticed so far, I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
