Has anyone tried getting a Krieger 6.5 mm barrel in straight contour and having a gunsmith crown, chamber and pin the barrel extension? I've had gunsmiths contour barrels for my bolt guns but the guy I use doesn't work on ARs. It doesn't seem like chambering an AR would be that much different except for the extra steps to make a step for the gas block and drilling the gas hole. One could even get their own reamer with a chamber print so they would always know that their chamber was SAAMI, or whatever variant they might prefer.
