I wasn't sure where to post this, so I thought I'd just stick it here.
I've been trying to pick up an XDm 45 compact at a good price, but the expensive required overnight shipping keeps killing the deal. So I was thinking.....
With an AR15 you can ship all the components directly from individual to individual by any shipping means preferred, as long as the lower goes through an FFL, assuming an out of state transaction.
Could this not be applied to a pistol? Ship everything, other than the serialized lower, from individual to individual, via economical shipping. Then stick the serialized lower in a small flat rate box and ship it to the FFL.
Thoughts, please.
