"Guns Everywhere" in GA

+ 1 for the Jeffersonian wisdom. I first used my "Uzi" comment in an eigth grade civics class, and many times since. Its an evocative statement I use to express my opinion that a well prepared defense is the best deterent to violence. When I find myself in the midst of the anti-gun crowd, I use it as a shot across the bow of those that use emotion instead of logic for problem solving. I futher explain that the reason for developing weapons of mass destruction, and letting our adversaries know we have them, is so we don't have to use them. Rarely do I convince the the emotional types, I just enjoy my cocktail as they find some reason to be in another room.
