I agree with LRRPF52, I'm the same way with crowds and in bars. I also agree with Thomas Jefferson, "Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem." I prefer dangerous Liberty over peaceful Slavery.
Nincomp I'm sorry for your loss. I have also had friends who have committed suicide and I've known people who have attempted "suicide". I've come to the conclusion if someone is determined to kill themselves they will, if someone wants attention this is a great way to get it.
I will say I've also known people (one closely) who attempted suicide because of an adverse reaction to anit depressants.
