It really all depends upon what you want to do, for hunting I use fixed height stocks. My match rifles have adjustable cheekpieces and I have different height settings and LOP when firing prone, sitting, offhand. If you want optimum accuracy it is an absolute must to have and adjustable cheek piece to eliminate muscle tension, an enemy of accuracy. If you always shoot from the same position, a fixed cheek piece can work but any other position brings in too much compromise for me. I've owned the PRS and while it works it isn't my favorite. I like the White Oak adjustable but stock if using a side charge handle, one of the most popular stock for the NRA high power rifle national matches. http://www.whiteoakarmament.com/xcart/pr...282&page=1
